Livelihoods RC training
The Livelihoods Resource Centre (LRC) aims at contributing to the identification and implementation of effective responses in livelihood projects, both in emergency interventions and in development phases, to help make communities more resilient.
Through the courses set up, the LRC provides training opportunities for those who wish to improve their technical abilities and consolidate their knowledge in this area, such as practitioners of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and other organisations, other stakeholders, and people with an interest in the sector.
Aiming at facilitating the training processes for interested people and humanitarian organisations, the LRC has developed a Learning and Technical Skills Framework regarding Livelihoods and Cash-Transfer Programmes. This skills framework helps to identify the basic abilities and knowledge which must be gained and that may be developed through the training courses offered by the LRC.
