Description: | Percentage of households included in the intervention who have been able to produce a surplus to sell into the market. In general an increase in the amount a household has to trade is good; however this will very much depend on whether there is an existing market and the price they will receive. This underlines the importance of at least carrying out a market analysis, and preferably a Value Chain Analysis before supporting / promoting any increase in production. |
