  • Disaster Risk Reduction and Natural Resources Management
  • Gain and application of livelihoods activities knowledge
Description:

Sustainable and climate resilient technology or management practices includes: soil and water conservation, sustainable forestry, wetland management to reduce flood risk, conservation of mangroves as buffer against storm surges, maintenance of water supply and drainage systems, small scale irrigation, etc. Improved NR management indicates improved adaptation, proxy for increased resilience and improved productivity. - Includes various levels of interventions at community and household level, e.g. fuel efficient stoves, soil erosion protection, dam and water retention structures, pasture/water production and management, fodder or grain storage, etc.
