The Livelihoods Resource Centre has delivered face-to-face trainings in 2019 and 2021 in livelihoods programming to Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) staff, with the logistics and coordination support from the IFRC, to improve the capacities of staff and volunteers to identify and design livelihood projects.
The objectives of these courses are:
- To familiarize participants with concepts, terminology and approaches for livelihoods programming
- Understand the different types of livelihood interventions
- Examine the specificities of livelihoods interventions throughout the project cycle.
- Use appropriate tools for collecting information and projects design and planning
- Training of trainers to replicate training in livelihoods programming.
