  • Ownership and access to productive assets
Description:

Improved availability and access to agriculture inputs suggests improved capacity to cultivate/increase surface of crop production and proxy indicator for improved harvest and food security among vulnerable households. - Includes staple crop, vegetable and agroforestry production. - This indicator is focused on agriculture equipment and inputs provision and access, e.g. seed/tools distribution and fairs, seed multiplication, agroforestry promotion etc.

Measure Notes:

> Quantity of seed/planting material accessible for cultivation (by type and quantity) relative to baseline > Quantity of tools and equipment accessible for land cultivation (by type) relative to baseline - Needs to consider potential changes in seasonal availability of agriculture inputs, needs to measure overall change. - Needs to consider potential changes in seasonal productivity, e.g. not every season in bimodal areas is similarly productive.
